Get FTM Mainnet Coins

FTM supports different chains, it can be an ERC-20, BEP2, and FTM Opera coin. There are many ways to get FTM mainnet coins. Here we will show you way how to use USDC to get FTM mainnet coins.

You NEED to have FTM mainnet coins already for TX fees. If you DO NOT have FTM mainnet coins then I recommend you to bridge FTM ERC-20 to FTM Mainnet coin following the bridge guide.

Requirements:

• Have ETH in your MetaMask wallet

• Have USDC in your MetaMask wallet

• Be on ETHEREUM mainnet on your MetaMask wallet

• Already have FTM mainnet coins

ENTER AN AMOUNT

Search for "USDC" then select

Once you're happy with the amount select "Swap"

Select "Confirm Swap" and then a new box will appear with gas fee's. No avoiding that select "Confirm"

NOTE: You can edit "GAS FEE" if you want your transaction to be complete faster. Not necessary.

Add "USDC" into MetaMask using "Add Token" if it doesn't automatically do so

SELECT "USD Coin" THEN SELECT "NEXT" AND THEN "ADD TOKEN"

Now we will swap "USDC" ERC-20 into "USDC" FTM mainnet by using a cross-chain bridge
